When I click on a message the list of messages in Thunderbird jumps around and it's a REAL PitA to have to keep scrolling back to where I was. This latest version/update sucks.

Does the same thing happen in safe/troubleshoot mode (hold Shift when launching TB)?
I loathe and despise the new "improved" Thunderbird and I know that I am not the only one
