Firefox is a browser but not a search engine correct me if I'm wrong. Also now when typing in the search box down by the start button searches come up but I cannot get links to open when I click on them and even if I right click on them nothing happens

Firefox is a web browser while duckduckgo.com, google.com, bing.com etc are search engines.

The company Mozilla that makes the Firefox web browsers (for desktop and mobile versions for iOS/iPadOS and Android) does not have a search engine service of their own.
