Firefox 115.20.0esr is the most current version you can run on Windows 7, 8, 8.1. The Fx 115.21.0esr in March is the last planned update unless Mozilla decides in next while to extend updates again. Firefox 116.0 and later requires Windows 10, 11 to run.

Some good news, Mozilla has decided to extend updates support for Firefox 115 ESR as it will be till Firefox 115.27.0esr in August.
