I've switched from a computer running Windows XP and FF 3.6.4 to a computer running Windows 7 and FF 3.6.4. Using some instructions I found in this forum, I created a backup file of my bookmarks into a JSON file, copied it to my new computer and then imported them. The favicons has disappeared from my bookmarks. They re-appear when I go to the website but then disappear again when I close FF. Anyone have any idea why and how to stop it from happening? Thanks in advance for any help.

The JSON backups don't save the Favicons. The Favicon should be saved anew the first time each bookmark is used.

If you do an Export of bookmarks in HTML format you would have the Favicons, but not the Tags associated with bookmarks.

Hello the-edmeister. Thank you for your response. You did address half of my problem. The other half is that the favicons disappear each time I close FF.

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Thanks in advance for your help.
