I keep Firefox updated to the latest version. When I installed 3.6.8, I immediately got a notification from McAfee that Firefox wants to open a TCP port to receiving incoming connections. Did somebody slip a trojan in on your upgrade?

This message would probably because McAfee was not up to date, so i'd goto McAfee setting's, allow Firefox to up date automatically.

You should try update McAfee to the latest version, then restart FireFox.
