My Citibank virtual account number generator automatically populates my credit card purchases in Internet Explorer. How do I make that work with Firefox?

With Internet Explorer, when I come to a page that requires credit card information, the Citibank virtual (temporary) account number generator pops up and populates the form. This doesn't happen with my FireFox browser.

Your More system details list shows a "Virtual Account Numbers" extension.

Is that extension supposed to do what you want in Firefox?

Firefox claims the plugin for Citibank Virtual Account Numbers is incompatible - is there a compatible version or do I have to go back to a previous FF version?

You need to contact that bank and ask them to update their extension for current Firefox 5 and possibly Firefox 6, due to be released later this month.

What is the latest version that the extension supports? If it works with Firefox 4 then you can try if it works if you override the compatibility check.
Don't do that if the extension only supports Firefox 3.x versions.

You can install the portable Firefox 3.6.19 version to access websites that do not work with Firefox 5+.
