Bug: The download dialog doesn't allow to check "Do this automatically for files like this from now on". WHY???? Please, can anyone in the world tell me, how to add and edit mime types??? I want to download files without any confirmations. Why is the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on" option always unavailable??? THIS HAPPENS ONLY WITH FIREFOX and developers have not been able to fix this issue for years!!!

That usually means that the file isn't send by the server with a recognized MIME type.

I'm sorry but this is nonsense. there are several extensions that can fix this issue, like MIME Edit etc., unfortunatelly non of them are compatible with my version of Firefox 4. So if some people can fix this issue with a small addon, why not Mozilla developers... ??????

I have finally found a solution! Just download and install this addon named mime_edit-0.601004242000.xpi and add your MIME types. http://space.geocities.yahoo.co.jp/gl/alice0775/view/20080912/1221150790 This one is compatible with Firefox 4
