Why doesn't Robotype Version 6 work in the latest version?
I have just upgraded to the latest version of Firefox. I also have Roboform 6.0 as a plugin. The Roboform Toolbar Icon is there. But none of my passwords appear. THis all worked fine in the previous version of FF.

Firefox 4 requires an update to Roboform 7 and that version needs to be purchased and is no longer free.
You can look at this extension as a possible replacement for Roboform:
- LastPass Password Manager: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager/
I, for one, am not happy with this decision. I paid for roboform for 3 computers and now in order to use the new Firefox I must pay roboform every month from now on, if I wish to use my paid subscription.

I feel the same way I think that Robotype has completely lost the plot..... I have now switched to LastPass and is just as good as if not better than Robotype.

What gave you the idea there's a monthly charge for the new V7? If you're a registered user of V6 and prior you get a discounted upgrade to V7. Considering Roboform is one of the few software companies that has given free updates for years, I hardly think you can complain about spending under $20 to upgrade. I've used Roboform for years and will continue to do so.
I've downloaded Roboform lite which is free. A new icon appears on Firefox then clic on it and choose the third solution "only store data on my computer", or something like that and now it works correctly (sorry for mistakes but i'm french). Hope it could help you.
I see nothing on the Roboform site that specifically states that v.7 will not run with FireFox 4. Roboform Everywhere is a new product and requires their resources to keep YOUR stuff, so a yearly charge is not unusual. You see below that information that 2Go is a one-time license fee per major upgrade, the usual, not new.
Click on this link. I now have FF 4 & Roboform 6 working ok. http://www.roboform.com/dist/roboform-firefox-3-4-frozen.xpi
