Do you use Panda Cloud AV? If so, try killing the Panda URL Filtering process. If this eliminates the problem, then use Control Panel to remove Panda Security URL Filtering

Thank you fstjohn, your solution worked. I was wondering why I couldn't access my yahoo mail. Thanks for taking the time to post that, very helpful. Note: if you don't want to disable Panda URL filtering permanently, you can shut down the process in task manager temporarily. I believe the process is pandaurlfiltering.exe

Panda furnished me with a beta replacement for the URL filtering and it works. They say theyll be updating soon. In the meantime, keeping in mind that it's a beta, you can download it at http://betatest.vmn.net/betatest/PandaSecurity/PandaURLFiltering/PandaURLFiltering_2.0.0.12.exe

Otherwise, you can just leave the filtering disabled and wait for the official update.
