When I click on the plus (+) symbol to open a new tab on the Firefox tab bar I always get the Yahoo home page and cannot get a blank tab. No matter what I do, I always get Yahoo. How do I get Yahoo to go away? Or better yet, how do I kill Yahoo?

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).

If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.
