Do you mean that you cannot see your 'Menu Bar' or 'Navigation Toolbar'?

A method for changing everything back to a classical look.

Click on the orange 'Firefox' button located top left. Hover over 'Options' and a new dropdown list appears.

Click on 'Menu Bar' to tick it. The Menu Bar should reappear and the orange Firefox has gone.

Repeat the above first instruction except Click on 'Navigation Toolbar' to tick it. The Navigation Toolbar should reappear.

To get rid of the 'Tabs on Top' follow the same instructions but this time you can see that 'Tabs on top' has a tick next to it. Click on 'Tabs on Top' to remove the tick and you will find the tabs are returned to the correct position below the Toolbars.

You may also wish to move the 'Home' icon. You can locate it on the far right of the Navigation pane; a small icon with a little house. Logically, most people like this icon to follow the Back and forward buttons, but placed before the address bar. To move it: Click on 'View' then 'Toolbars' then select 'customise'. With this small 'Customise Toolbar' window open you can now hover over the home icon and the cursor will look like an open hand, so left click and hold to grab the icon and drag to a better position if desired. The 'Customise Toolbar' allows you to add eg: printer or place separators to tidy the Navigation toolbar  :)

Make sure you are not in Full Screen mode, F11 toggles Full Screen on/off.

Use the "Alt" key to temporarily display toolbars. You can restore display of a toolbar through the View > Toolbars menu. (and put the tabs back to the bottom of the toolbars).]

You can make Firefox 4.0.1 and Firefox 5.0 look like Firefox 3.6.17, see numbered items 1-10 in the following topic Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 4.0 look like 3.6)

Right, I do not get a navigation or menu bar to access.

Thank you for the suggestion. When I do an "F-11" it reduces the window to where I can see what I need; however, it holds for about 5 seconds then automatically pops back to full screen!
