Hi all, I think Fennec is fantastic and is a better browser for touch screens so handy for the fingers much more so than Firefox only one problem so far.

Scrolling! Maybe I'm just not getting it, when I press and drag with one finger it zooms in or out (press and hold scrolls fine with the mouse). Pinch to zoom in or out works fine.

If you fixed this I would replace my Firefox with Fennec Straight away as I would be able to sync my bookmarks and more.

The desktop OS builds are built for developers to find regression ranges and addon developers to have access to fennec without buying a phone. We don't do any testing of the build with desktop operating systems with touchscreens.

This may change with some of the design direction Microsoft is heading for Windows 8. For now none of the Firefox mobile developers have access to a Windows computer that uses a touchscreen interface which would make fixing this issue quite difficult.

It is possible that changing some of the mousewheel prefs in about:config may allow the problem to be worked around.

Ah man, that sucks that you guys don't have any access to a single touch screen pc.

I have to say I really like windows on a touch screen, many cool programs but the one that's really missing is a decent touch friendly browser (Touch scrolling doesn't work on either my ExoPc or my touch screen monitor on my desktop). Currently I'm using a rival mobile browser but Fennec just looks so great and integrates with desktop Firefox so well.

Please if you can look into this further, if one of your developers worked in Dublin I would gladly loan my ExoPc to troubleshoot this. I know that there are many touch screen windows users out there Fennec could really fill in a market gap sooo easily.

If there is anything I can do to help please drop me a mail.
