The right side of my window has been cut. Many efforts of resizing it have not helped. The left side is unusually larger.

go to help at the top of your firefox browser an click on help then click on restart with Add-ons disabled, Firefox will restart as basic and it should be back to normal, then you can turn the add-ons back on by going to tools at tghe top of the screen and then click add-ons

this worked for my problem

Have you tried zooming /questions/847465 or scrolling.

If you continue to have problems more information would help. Please answer in the current (or your own) thread:

  • What display resolution are you using ?
  • Exactly what is lost, and sides or top ?
  • What does it affect, does it occur with blank pages, or only certain websites
  • Maybe you could add a screenshot from
    • firefox 4
    • and firefox 5 so everyone can see what is happening.
  • (asked originally in thread /questions/847840 )

Some users are finding it is the Babylon toolbar causing this, anyone wish to confirm this, or say something else causes the problem ?

John99 true my default page is the babylon tool bar...

Thanks for confirming that, presumably disabling the Babylon toolbar by using Firefox Button -> Help _> restart with Add-Ons disabled solves the problem.

Or better still disable only the Babylon Toolbar

  • Firefox Button -> Add-Ons -> (select relevant extension & disable/remove) (or pluggin)
