I have the Firefox Download Helper and Status Bar add-ons. I tried to download a file that crashed and I received an error message that the file was corrupt. The Status Bar still shows the file as "active" (or whatever you want to call it). I guess the Download Helper is still waiting for the file to finish being saved, but it's never going to happen...  :)

Do you still see that file in the Firefox > Downloads on Tools > Downloads window?

hi,

Does this persist after Firefox restart? Before restarting you could also try removing the entry from the Firefox downloads manager (Tools (Alt + T) > Downloads (Ctrl + J) and see if the Downloads Helper Status Bar gets updated.

Thank you! I was able to erase the file in the Tools/Downloads then Clear List as you suggested. I really appreciate the help. I'm not a very savvy computer user so these type of problems are too much for me.
