FF crashes on opening, even in safe mode.It opens for about 2 - 3 seconds then crashes. I'm using the latest version of FF, windows Vista and all add-ons (they auto-update). I've completely uninstalled it, including all preferences etc, cleaned the registry, re-started windows and re-installed it, but the same thing happens. I can't check anything else because it doesn't stay open long enough. The only clue I can give is before it crashed I noticed my 'Roboform' add-on had been disabled by Mozilla, but as that was already disabled I can't see how that would be the problem. As a matter of interest I'm using v8.0.1 of Firefox2go on a USB device (with Roboform disabled) to send this and there's no problem.

I'm having a similar problem - tried nightlies - nothing worked. The only thing which is working - start the application as Administrator (Right click on executable). With this I'm able to write this here... maybe it also helps you?

The crash report of the OP rodmac51 indicates a problem with Roboform, so if rodmac51 still has that problem then update to the latest Roboform version.
