new windows
ok this is getting ridculous. every website i open everytime i change a page a new window opens, most of the time its for survery's sometimes its going to the same page im already on, sometimes its spam. this happens everytime i change a page. ive used firefox for year's and ive always been happy with it till i upgraded to 9, ever since then this has been taking place. i have checked and rechecked and rechecked all my settings this should not be happening and im about to permanantly delete firefox and goto google chrome. please fix this problem or tell me how to as i hate all other browsers and really dont want to have to use something other than firefox but im tired of having to close a new window everytime i change pages.

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
