The download window pops up when file is downloading but doesn't show download status or retain of list of downloads as in the past - how do I restore this option?

Formerly the download window showed the status of the download in process and retained a list of downloaded files until I cleared the list. Now a blank download window pops up automatically when I download a file. The window doesn't reflect the status of the download, download name, etc. There is no display of downloaded files. How do I restore the function of the download window? I've checked the option to show download window when downloading.

Thanks for the quick response - options - privacy - remember download history solved the issue.
