Every time I visit certain sites (examples include Gmail, Youtube and Tumblr) Firefox just stops working. I already tried restarting, safe mode, resetting to the default state and clearing all data (cookies, passwords, cache, etc.), and none of that worked. Currently forced to use Chrome until this is fixed.

Had to do with a recent update (forgot I was on beta update channel). Waiting for inevitable fix which will probably solve issue.

You can check the network.http.* prefs on the about:config page and reset all bold user set network.http prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu -> Reset.

If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:

There weren't any bold user set prefs there since I never even used that, so there was nothing to do in that page.

Problem still unresolved.
