In the new Firefox version the bookmark toolbar sits across the top of webpages and covers buttons and links on the pages. It always gets in the way and I have to hide it to log in or out of sites. It is annoying as I constantly have to go back and forth between showing and hiding the toolbar. Can it be placed above the tabs or the bottom of the page or anywhere but across the actual webpage?

The bookmarks toolbar should not interfere with the page at all. It looks like you have many addons including at least one other toolbar. It could be that one of those is causing the problem.

One quick way to see if it is one of those other toolbars would be to start Firefox in Safe Mode and see if the problem goes away - Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode .

I went through the process of starting Firefox in safe mode and the bookmark toolbar moved above my navigation toolbar. I am not sure why but after restarting in normal mode, the toolbar stayed there and it is no longer in the way. Thank you so much for your help.
