Firefox will not display in "partial" mode. I can only get full screen display or minimized display, not the intermediate partial screen window.

The "partial screen icon" does not work. When it is clicked, the display is minimized. (Hovering displays the text "restore down", which doesn't sound correct.)

When the display is minimized, I have to hover over the preview, right-select maximize, to get any display at all, and this is the full screen display.

Fix? I have tried uninstall/re-install, did not fix the problem.

hello rclacher, try this in order to reset the user interface settings in firefox: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, click on profile folder/show folder and close all firefox windows afterwards. a windows explorer window should open up - in there delete the file named localstore.rdf - it will be regenerated again the next time you launch the browser.
