Hi:

I am on Win 7, Firefox 22. When I go into Tools->Options, Security; clicking the "show passwords" button does not do anything. The button blinks to show it was clicked, but password list does not show up.

Also I noticed on the Privacy setting I am not getting the Tracking section of choices.

Thanks for your help.

Additional information;

I had updated to Firefox V22 through the auto-update mechanism. Since several things were becoming a problem, I deleted Firefox, did a new download and reinstalled.

Problems with password access and Tracking options are now solved.

Thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

This can also be caused by a problem with the signons.sqlite and key3.db files.

Hi, I started FF in safe mode; still cannot get the password manager to show my saved passwords.

Going to a new website and creating an account/password still give me a prompt to save the password, and going back autofills the information. Just cannot view it.
