Please can someone help me !! I have a McAfee site advisor that has stopped working but contacting their support hasn't helped and neither has paying a computer technician. I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least twice but to no avail, there are no ticks when trying to view a potential website so I don't know whether it's safe or not and the site advisor in the bottom right hand corner of my screen shows a constant grey that's if it's there at all. I'm tearing my hair out in frustration so if anyone could help me fix this I will be forever grateful. Please bear in mind I'm not that computer savvy so if any solution you could provide put it in step by step form. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already tried this and seen the page, is there anything else you could suggest ?

If you've not yet solved this problem try the following;

Go to http://www.siteadvisor.com/ and download McAfee's Site Advisor. This will deliver you the latest version. Once the download has completed click on Tools on the Firefox menu bar and open Downloads from the list of options. You should see 'SAsetup' at the top of the list which then appears. Click on this and then select Run to re-install Site Advisor. This takes less than a minute and when done you will be offered the option to reboot. Do so and when the computer re-starts open Firefox again and you should find your colour codings restored.

Hi Seneca2

Thanks for replying to my ongoing hassle with the Site Advisor, I will try this again and hope it works but I'm not holding my breath as I have done this before yet still the problem is there.
