I accidentaly reset my key for sync. Can I recover my data?

I tried to connect to sync on a new windows 7 pc and I accidentally pressed on "reset key". Can I recover all my data?

No, once you hit on the regenerate key button all your data that has been saved on sync is gone. Do you have that data somewhere else?

Unfortunately not. I reinstalled windows and all data was saved on sync account. :( Thanks for the reply.

I just found a copy with the key, before resetting. Can that help?

If you've already reset, the deletion has already happened. Sync is NOT a backup service, and shouldn't be used as such.

Did you back up windows before re-installing (like you should)?

No, no backup.
