I always expand to full screen after starting my browser and reduce screen size before closing. More than half the time when I restart the browser will be full screen and I have to manually resize the screen to smaller size. This happens with the current Nightly build and Firefox 25.0.1. I am running OS X Mavericks but this was happening in Mountain Lion also. Any way to fix this?

Are you using Firefox > Quit to close the Firefox application because if you only close all open windows then Firefox is still running?

Yes I use Firefox Quit to close after I have reduced the screen size. It's not a big problem just an inconvenience.
