Are there any tools to delete duplicate emails (that I got from restoring a crashed hard drive)?
I recently had a crashed hard drive and was able to have all of the data restored to a new external hard drive.
With the Thunderbird Community's help. I've restored all of my emails also. However, it seems that I may have restored some of then 2 or 3 times. Is there any way to automatically delete duplicates?
Win 7 Pro, 64 bit, Thunderbird 24.3.0.

Interesting. I've loaded 2 different Add-ons, and each worked about 2 or 3 times and then stopped, even though I can see there are still duplicates. Oh, well, I can do the rest manually (down to 1000 from 5000), but this has been a big help. Thanks to all.

Look for an add-on on AMO.
What's AMO? And, what Add-on should I be looking for?
In Thunderbird, go to Tools|Add-ons
Enter "remove duplicate" into the search box. Pick something that looks suitable.
I use this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/remove-duplicate-messages-alte/?src=ss
