Encountered a problem with Thunderbird 24.4 replying to a person with an á in their name (Not in email address) The received message reads as: Náme O'Person <name_operson"@gmail.com> Clicking Reply inserts this address: =?UTF-8?B?U2lvYmjDoW4=?= O'Person =?UTF-8?B?PHNpb2JoYW5fb3NoYXVnaG5lc3N5?="@gmail.com>

This is the case on 24.4 on both Mac and PC. Tested using the gmail account and with an alias address. Removing the á accent from their name fixes the issue but this is a less-than-ideal solution.

Correction: It appears only the alias address set up for that account is experiencing the problem but with the same Name spelling. replying to the direct gmail address works fine.

Náme O'Person <name_operson"@alias.edu> Clicking Reply inserts this address: =?UTF-8?B?U2lvYmjDoW4=?= O'Person =?UTF-8?B?PHNpb2JoYW5fb3NoYXVnaG5lc3N5?="@alias.edu>
