WTF I installed FF 29.0 and all of a sudden I have no address bar, no navigation button, nothing in any wya to get to web sites! It looks like Chrome but ever worse. If I wnated Chrome I'd install that POS. How do I restore the UI to the pre-version 29 look and feel and get back the REQUIRED functionality of a browser???

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file if you are missing toolbars or icons.

You can use one of these to set which toolbars to show.
You can't hide the Navigation Toolbar as that has the 3-bar Firefox button that replaced the orange Firefox menu button.

  • Firefox menu button > Options/Preferences
  • View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the hidden Menu bar)
  • Right-click empty toolbar area
