I receive payment messages from Pay Pal every time someone pays me. The problem is on one of my e-mail accounts that include any messages from Pay Pal about payments received from them. Everyone that has sent a payment to me in the past week all have the from column name changed to just one name instead of who the message was actually from. The from column now has just one customer's name in it.

For example:

The original message in the FROM column used to say "John doe via Pay Pal" ...Now all the messages in the from column now say "jane doe via Pay Pal" when they originally said john doe. All payments that were received before and after this one specific payment now all read "jane doe via Pay Pal" and NOT what they originally said in the FROM column.

I checked with my webmail provided and checked the e-mail server and the e-mails are correctly formatted on the webmail with the sender's name correctly posted in the FROM column. It seems that the glitch is somewhere between the web server and when it is displayed in Thunderbird.

Please Help!!!

Go into your address book and find the PayPal entry. Delete the name on that contact. It is displaying the name of the person where you first saved the contact. Probably when you selected Always show remote content for this sender,.
