Why doesn't Windows High Contrast work any longer since Firefox 29 and the Australia Theme?
In firefox 28 and all versions before that when I had Windows High Contrast enabled firefox would also be in high contrast. It would make the webpages black and all text would become white. Due to my disability that made it alot easier for me to see and to browse. Since firefox 29 and the introduction of the australia theme however it seems like windows high contrast is no longer supported by firefox. For that reason I downgraded back to firefox 28 in order to be able to browse like I used to.

There is a hidden value that needs to be changed in two places:
Go to Options > Content > Next to Fonts and Colors click "Advanced" > Uncheck allow sites to choose fonts and colors AND Click ok and go to Color.. on the Content page > Uncheck allow pages to choose own colors other than above. Make sure the background is black and font choice white.
On windows if you have high contrast mode on, please also try "use system colors"

I do hope I posted this in the right forum.
This is a pluging for restore the old theme of firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
Modified
That does indeed switch the theme back but it does not fix the high contrast issues. The websites are still not shown in high contrast. I think this is more of a programming issue.
To be a bit more clear:
In the article above High Contrast themes are named as a Firefox feature. Well, that complete function is not working any longer after Firefox version 29. (With the complete overhaul of Firefox and the introduction of Australia).
Can someone please give me some feedback on this subject?
The text in the article says: Using a High Contrast Theme
Firefox automatically detects if you are using a High Contrast theme and displays everything in your high contrast color scheme. This overrides all other other browser or web page settings, and it affects the Firefox interface itself (all menus, windows, and dialog boxes) and the content of any web page you visit.
To use a High Contrast theme, go to Start Menu, select Control Panel, then Accessibility Options, finally Display and check the Use High Contrast option.
Please also update to Firefox 30, there are some fixes for high contrast mode there.
Tried firefox 30 as well but to no avail. The theme looks better in high contrast with firefox 30 but the high contrast feature is still not working. All websites keep looking like they look when you have high contrast turned off.
