Does anyone know how to use keywords? I have tried assigning single letters and words to bookmarks are then tried typing these keywords in the Address Bar but the results I get are inconsistent. For instance, if the keyword I type is "dog" I would expect to see only bookmarks with the word dog as the keyword. Perhaps this is not what keywords are used for.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Keywords are used to associate a search with a word in the url bar. More info:

How to add a keyword:

  1. Click on the manage search engine or go to Options/Preferences and click on Search
  2. Double click in the Keyword column to add a keyword associated with the search engine.

You can do this in Android from the addon settings, assuming you were using: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-Us/andr.../reviews/

You can also get your keyword bookmarks from desktop Firefox using Firefox Sync. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-up-firefox-sync
