How do I recover Thunderbird emails and address books from my EHD following a crash and Windows 10 reinstall?

I have had to reinstall Windows 10 following constant blue screens of death.

I had everything backed up on an EHD, but how do I get my old emails and address books back to my newly reinstalled Thunderbird?

I can find all the files on the EHD, but can't work out how to get them across to my computer.
