I was able to send and receive emails until about 0900 this morning and now I can do neither. I changed the Bigpond password about 4 days ago and everything has been working fine, I have even gone in and out of Bigpond using the new password with no problems but nothing works there now either. The following message comes up when I click 'get messages' "Sending of password for user ****@bigpond.net.au did not succeed. Mail server mail.bigpond.com responded: invalid user name or password"

Funny thing is I have gmail linked to Bigpond and it is receiving all messages. Anyone have any idea?

Thanks

I think a call to bigpond support is in order... once they sort out your inability to access things from their web site, I think the Thunderbird issues will just disappear.
