Stop new tabs from loading before opened
Hello! :)
I'm trying to come back to firefox from having used chrome for a long time and there is one feature i really miss from chrome; that it doesn't load a tab when it is created until i cllick on said tab. The option "do not load tab until opened" seems to only apply when firefox is restoring tabs from a previous session but NOT when i create a new tab in my current one. I like to (for instance when i watch youtube) open several interesting videos as separate new tabs and then watch them whenever i please, currently firefox immediatly loads all those videos in their tabs as soon as they are created, how do i stop this?
Regardless i hope you have a really nice day! :D <3

There is no built-in setting that you missed -- there is no built-in setting for this. But you could considering using an add-on. One that came up in a search is:
- Load Tab on Select: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/load-tab-on-select/

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
