Hi, you can try this: Open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore, and see if you have a backup there.

It was helpful, however, it did not solve my issue. I located the profile file, however when I tried to open it would not display my old bookmarks, just kept referencing Internet Explorer, I used Mozilla past two years to established these bookmarks, yet the profile file references opening in explorer, tried to open in explorer, would not expand to show my bookmarks.

Did you ever setup Firefox Sync?

Do you have an "C:\Windows.old" folder?

If you have a "C:\Windows.old" folder with personal data from a previously installed Windows version then you can recover personal data from a previously used profile in this backup.
