"send" button & "send now" options no longer workingworking
Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but, since the last update I have noticed that the "send button" or the "send now" option from the menu. I have even tried using the keyboard shortcut but this no longer works when I try to send emails once completed.
I have found that the only way I can send emails is if I use the "send later" option via the menu or the keyboard shortcut.
Any assistance is greatly welcome

Hi web-keeper-666.
Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support. By default, Thunderbird has only one "Send" button, so I guess you have some add-on installed, something like Send Later, which might stopped working after the update.
To verify it, please to restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
Please let us know, if the safe mode helped you to identify the issue, or if it still persists, so we can proceed with other steps accordingly.

Thanks for helping me. I was getting frustrated trying to work out what had happened.
So the issue was the following plugin, it would seem that its not compatible, and possibly it might have support discontinued, as it was "Last Updated: September 26, 2014", so I would say it may be dead, that's probably why it's not working properly with versions v45.0 & up of Thunderbird.
