Hi

I have 2 different Gmail accounts both are in Thunderbird but seem to have an issue

On my old gmail account all I see is the typical folders all in the rot directory which is how I want it.

But in my new gmail account I have an INBOX folder in the root along with a GMAIL folder which then has all the other folders in it which is not how I want it.

I tried one other suggest here and that was to go into Server settings and advanced and put [GMAIL] in the IMAP box. This gets rid of the folder but it only moves the trash folder into the root directory and when I sent myself a test e-mail and deleted it it did not show the deleted test mail in the trash folder. I also do not have any other folders like sent and important and such just the one trash folder which does not seem to display the discarded e-mails in case I need to retrieve for say a mistaken deleted e-mail.

Any ideas how to remove the gmail folder and put at least some of it;s folders in the root along with the inbox as trying to shorten my list some so don't have a scroll bar!

Thanks

Disregard. I started to double check the two accounts setting by setting and noticed the other was a POP account compared to IMAP so I deleted the new account and reset it up as a pop account and all is cool now so disregard this question!
