Second Firefox browser opens when I start Firefox. Goes to junk site.
When I start Firefox browser a SECOND browser window opens which goes to a goes to junk site.
The first window goes to my regular homepages.
Firefox 48. Windows 8.1
add-ons: Ad-Block Plus, Empty Cacje Button, Video Downloadhelper, Show Password.
Defender, Malicious Software Detector find nothing.

Try using all the tools listed in
You clearly have some sort of malware or adware problem. You may find that shortcuts or links Firefox uses such as on the Desktop Firefox icon have been modified. If you use all the tools mentioned in the linked article that will probably be detected &/or fixed, otherwise we can look into it further after you get the results and any initial fixes.
