Thunderbird corrupts outgoing MS Office files.
It seems Thunderbird is corrupting all MS Office 2010 files I create and send out. The attachment appears in the email, but the file is unopenable and cannot be repaired. I do not know if it is happening with other file types.
Thank you.

If you use an anti-virus (AV) product then it may be scanning your outgoing emails. Suggest you access the AV and switch off scanning for outgoing mail.
