Bug in the copy/paste function of a text + image content
If you do have a document containing text and images and you would like to copy part of this document and paste it into an email that is being written. It's a bit of a basic computer operation (copy / paste) that should work without worries, unfortunately not in Thunderbird :(
For example, starting from a Libre office document (or open office or other), the text and the images are copied, but when pasting into TB only the text is pasted, the images are not pasted in the process. But they are still in the clipboard, and if you paste this content in another document it will nicely paste the whole (text + images), only TB refrain to paste the images.
Frankly not cool. And when the images are placed at different portions of the text and you have to go one by one to paste them separately to the right passages it becomes an absurd task to do.
And NO, here we do not want to send the document as an attachment, we just want to incorporate a part of it into an e-mail that is being written.
Before it worked correctly though, but not any more since a few updates. Is Mozilla aware of this bug ? Corrections planned ?
Thanks for support :-)
