Unable to download Skype - saying insecure connection ? ?
Unable to download Skype saying insecure connection. I've refreshed Firefox but still not working....??
Chosen solution
ok, in this case also try to disable OCSP stapling - enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling. double-click it and change its value to false.

hi Arcadien, microsoft is currently having some issues with their server configuration - please try to reload the page a couple of times (by pressing F5) and see if it is loading then.
you could also temporarily disable the OCSP security mechanism in firefox until MS has fixed their stuff by going into the firefox options > advanced > certificates pnael & and see if that works...
Hi thanks tried both options but still saying....
An error occurred during a connection to go.skype.com. Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT

Yes worked fine thank you, do I leave it like this permanently....?
it's degrading a security feature in firefox so i wouldn't recommend leaving it that way - i would switch it back as soon as you've completed your task or else in a couple of days when MS has got its act together again...
Skype downloaded ok and now set back to true.
Many thanks !! :)
Hi now having a new insecure warning, and for the first time in years trying to enter poldark.activeboard.com.
