Why does this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/get-started-firefox-overview-main-features page take over my website I am currently on? It keeps doing it!

When I am on a website, be it the bank, facebook, Pinterest, or anything, the page mentioned above just takes over and sits on the page I was on. Why? Is it a virus? This just started about 3 weeks ago.

About how often does this happen? Every X minutes, every time you open a new site . . . . . . . .

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

That is the page that opens via "Help -> Firefox Tour" (Alt h o).

It happens every few minutes. I was watching a video yesterday, and poof, there is that page again. I may have 3 tabs or more going, but it happens on the tab I am on.

Have you tried Safe Mode?

I tried safe mode too. My mouse cursor jumps up to the top left corner and then, the page appears.

Start your Computer in safe mode. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
