Hi,

my mail folder is located on a separate local partition (E:).

Unfortunately Ccleaner has impacted my prefs.js and as I did not realize that immediately I made a backup of the mail folder.

So there is no working copy of the file.

I tried the advice from Matt (https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/1081936) but it did not bring back my TB folder structure and about 12.000 mails that I need urgently.

I set up a new mail account, created a profile and changed the path to the existing mail folder.

But I still get the standard TB folder structure, access to my provider works.

System: Windows 7 Prof TB: 52.2.0

I appreciate help a lot !

Regards Bodo

PS: Is the entry in profiles.ini correct:

Path=F:\Eigene Dateien\Daten\Mails

Or do I have to point to the rm1xh4pr.default subdirectoty?

Tried: Did not work either

Mail ( the messages themselves) would go to that F:\ Drive path, however, your pref.js and similar configuration files would go to the xxxxxx.default\ path.

Hi Corey,

I do not understand your post, what do I have to do?
