Can not authorize at any site via Facebook account

more options

I am now logged into Facebook and the site works fine in Firefox 57.0.4 for OSX. Then I want to use my FB account to authorize on other sites, such as here:

https://www.grammarly.com/signin or here https://login.gearbest.com/m-users-a-sign.htm?type=1

and it just takes me nowhere. The first site shows a blank page after pressing FB button, on the second one FB button does not apply any actions. In Safari or Chrome it works just fine. My idea was that Firefox blocks pop-ups and this is the case, however, after I turned off "Block pop-up windows" nothing has changed.

Does anyone know the solution? I will be thankful for your help.

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. (Firefox 57 and above) Click the Library button 57 library icon and choose History.
(Click the menu button New Fx Menu and choose History in older Firefox versions.)
  2. In the History menu, choose "Clear Recent History...".
  3. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  4. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  5. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  6. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Could you also check for Tracking Protection as a potential issue? A "shield" icon will appear toward the left end of the address bar when tracking content is blocked on a page. More info in this article: What happened to Tracking Protection?.
