i created an account in firefox to sync my bookmarks and add-ons. Things were working fine until i formatted my laptop and reisntalled my os. After signing in to my old firefox account i cannot find my old bookmarks. How to get back my old data which was synced.

hi,

for the sync to work you need to check for e.g. the tabs, bookmakrs, etc. checkbox on the Preference > Sync tab also accessible via "about:preferences#sync" And then you need to log in the other Firefox and choose what you want to sync. After few minutes all bookmarks should appear. Please see the screenshot.

If after following i.e. checking the checkbox(s) no bookmarks are seen it might be that on your old instance of FIrefox bookmark option was not checked.
