I recently rebuilt and reinstalled my PC. When I open Thunderbird the layout always defaults to 'Vertical View'.

Every time I manually switch it to 'classic view'. How do I save 'classic view' as default?

Chosen solution

Fixed - I had an rogue add-on called Layout Switcher!

Not sure how that got installed. Disabled.
