If a web page on a piece of equipment in my office is open in Firefox double clicking on the Firefox icon on my desktop does nothing. If that site is not open, then double clicking on the Firfox icon works just fine. This is weird! I need to keep that page open a lot of the time on my desktop, but somehow Firefox gets into a state where it will not start any new windows. How do I stop this behavior?

What is that website for? Please provide public link(s) (no password) that we can check out. No Personal Information Please !

You are talking about the desktop icon. Not the TaskBar icon, yes?

Right-click the Taskbar icon and select; Open New Window.
