New computer downloaded firefox and can't add my old email address to new account

Hello

When I d/l firefox to my new computer it seemed to use an email address already reg. in the new computer. My old computer with firefox used a different email. I tried to add that address in

Firefox account- manage account- secondary email add- yet FF will not accept my 2nd email saying it is already in use.

Must I uninstall FF and re-install with the other email (which is a primary? I do have 'sync'

I'd appreciate help recovering my old addie Thanks

Hey there, you can't register the same email address with two different firefox accounts. You will need to log out of FF on either of your devices and log in with your main account on it to enable sync.
