How do I change the default calendar when receiving invites?

I am using Lightning to combine calendars from my Gmail account and a business email address which I manage in Thunderbird. When I am sent emails to my business address and I accept them, the calendar defaults to "Home". This is ok except these entries do not then appear in my Google calendar which means I get one view of my calendar in Thunderbird and a subset (excluding Home) when I view my Google calendar. Have I configured things incorrectly? Note that if I create entries in Thunderbird using the Google calendar it correctly synchronises. It is just entries allocated to Home that are not synchronising.

Thanks for any help or hints.

Chosen solution

'Home' is a local calendar, so it won't sync in any way. The invitation you get is sent to one of your email addresses. Assign the email address the invitation was sent to to the desired calendar. I'd not assign the same email address to multiple calendars. You don't have to assign an email address to e.g. the 'Home' calendar, which then shouldn't receive any meeting invitations.
