getting multiple emails of same message
I started getting duplicate emails downloaded from my AOL account about 2 months ago. It is random, not all emails are affected. Now the same random email has increased to 4 on some and 3 and 2 on others.

we have read your message.
can you look in account manage if nothing is checked in email forwarding?
Can you look in the subject forwarding whether there is a rule connected to send messages continuously to your self.
See if you can find something like that?

The double receipt of e-mail can also be caused by checking the mailbox twice in succession. This is the case when an account is included in addition to the standard account for an alias, or two e-mail addresses that use the same mailbox. This can be checked via the login details: the configured POP server and the username are the same for both e-mail addresses.
