Master Password
Hi. I created a master password for the Thunderbird program in the hope that it will prevent unauthorized access to the mail. When you start the program, a password window appears, everything works well, you can enter the password and work on. But if you do not enter the password and press the "ESC" button several times, the password field is removed and you can read and receive mail. An error appears and the program asks you to enter the password a few more times, but all this is canceled by the "ESC" button" Is it a mistake or should it be?

This is the way it works. You'll need to learn what the master password does and what it doesn't do. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Master_password
